Global renewable leaders committed to Norwegian offshore wind

A consortium with leaders in renewable energy, a long-standing presence in Norway, and a vision for developing a strong and sustainable Norwegian offshore wind industry.

Utsira North will be developed around 25 km off the coast of Karmøy with an expected capacity of around 1,500 MW.
Southern North Sea II is located approximately 140 km off the coast of the Agder Region and is expected to be developed in two phases, each phase having a capacity of around 1,500 MW.

Representatives from the Skjoldblad consortium partners (Iberdrola, TotalEnergies and Norsk Havvind) joined the High Wind conference in Stavanger on 12 March.
The event gave Skjoldblad the opportunity to connect with the Norwegian delegation in Glasgow.
Skjoldblad communicated to the MPE that it will not be participating in the upcoming competition for acreage for the development of offshore wind in Southern North Sea II (Sørlige Nordsjø II).
